All classes are ongoing, you can start at anytime. Every Salsa group class starts with 25 min of solo footwork, also known as “Shines”, which will help you get faster and lighter on your feet and better understand what Salsa weight shifting technique is all about.

Class Descriptions:
In this class we introduce the students to the Salsa rhythm and how to count to Salsa music by working on 6 basic moves (Cross Body Lead - Right Turn - Left Turn - Hammer Lock - Hand Change Turn - Break Change). Everyone is welcome. (Intermediate level men are always welcome to take any class - remember leading is something that you develop with practice with intermediate level or beginner level ladies.)
This class is designed for those students who have learned the beginner syllabus and concepts of salsa rhythm and timing. It is important that the student knows all the step from beginner level in order to take this class. There are 8 moves and 4 combinations to master in this class.
This is for students who are comfortable with the basic concepts of salsa rhythm and basic stepping. You don’t have to know all the steps from the Advanced Beginner I level in order to take this class, just as long as you feel comfortable with rhythm and timing you will do fine.
This is for students who feel comfortable with the Advanced Beginner syllabus and have managed the concepts of Salsa rhythm, timing and basic stepping. Shines and lots of movement technique are a big part of this class.
Bachata dancing is characterized by smooth and sensual hip and body movement. This class is open to students of all levels that are looking to learn the steps and turn patterns that have made this such a popular social dance.
This class is for Advanced-Beginner and Intermediate students who would like to challenge themselves and take their Salsa to a new level by performing when the opportunity comes. Lots and lots of technique, movement, rhythm, SHINES!! and lots of hard work are the ingredients of this class. |
